Special Needs Support Program
Course description
At Little Scholars, we believe that every child deserves an education that meets their unique
needs. Our Special Needs Support Program provides individualized care and support for
children with learning differences or developmental challenges. We work closely with families
and a network of specialists to develop personalized education plans that focus on each child’s
strengths.
Specialized Support Services:
- Early Learning Strategists to guide developmental learning
- Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to improve communication abilities
- Occupational and Physical Therapists (OT/PT) to help with physical and motor
development - Education Assistants (EA) for one-on-one guidance
Why Our Support Program Stands Out:
- Collaborative approach involving families, educators, and specialists
- Regularly reviewed and updated Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) for each child
- Engaging activities to promote confidence, self-esteem, and independence
Enrichment Activities for Special Needs Students:
- “Islands of Competence” programs designed to build on each child’s strengths and
passions - Self-esteem-boosting activities integrated into the daily schedule
- Opportunities for social interaction and relationship building
